Dear Taxpayer:

You may have heard that the former Pierce County Tax Assessor has recently been accused and admitted to failure to comply with State Law in procedures associated with their assessment of real property (affecting both residential and commercial property tax assessments).  It has been estimated that as many as 180,000+ taxpayers in Pierce County may have been adversely impacted by these violations.

As a result, Harley H. Hoppe & Associates is offering a complimentary review to determine if your property value was accurately assessed, and/or if you could benefit from our guidance and assistance with the tax appeal process.

Harley H. Hoppe & Associates has been assisting taxpayers with valuation and representation in the tax appeal process for 30+ years.  As a former King County Assessor, Mr. Hoppe is considered an expert in this field and has achieved successful results for taxpayers like you, statewide.

If you would like for us to proceed with our complimentary review, please complete the attached Taxpayer Questionnaire.  Upon receipt, we will evaluate the accuracy of your property tax assessment (current and qualifying prior years), and determine if you have sufficient grounds for an appeal.  You will be contacted in a timely manner to discuss your options.  All information you provided will be considered confidential.

If we determine that you have sufficient grounds for an appeal, we will provide you with our terms of engagement and compensation guidelines.  Upon mutual acceptance, you will be charged a one-time set up fee of $125.00.  If the appeal is granted, the standard fee payable to Harley H. Hoppe & Associates is an amount equal to one-half (1/2) of the property tax reduction or tax refund you receive, payable upon receipt of same.  If for whatever reason the appeal is declined, you owe nothing more than the initial set up fee.
